  • 81% percent of buyers' agents said staging a home made it easier for a buyer to visualize the property as a future home.

  • Staging the living room was found to be most important for buyers (39%), followed by staging the primary bedroom (36%), and staging the kitchen (30%).

  • Among buyers’ agents, 58% having traditional physical staging available for their listings was much more or more important to their clients.

Barbara Schwarz invented the Home Staging concept and industry when she entered the world of real estate as an Agent in Bellevue, WA in 1972.

Barb's background in theater gave her the idea of "setting the Stage" in houses for buyers to visualize themselves in the home.
